Bradenton Pedestrian In Critical After Being Hit By Car On 41 At 66th Ave. West
Bradenton Florida - A man from Bradenton was critically injured very early Wednesday morning after being struck by a car while crossing U.S. 41.
The accident happened as a 43-year-old man from Bradenton Florida was attempting to cross all lanes of traffic on U.S. 41 north of 66th Avenue West after dark.
As the man was walking across the road, a 17-year-old girl was driving a car heading southbound on U.S. 41 north of 66th Avenue West.
At 12:22:00 AM, the young driver encountered the pedestrian on the unlit roadway and the car crashed into the pedestrian while they were in the center lane of U.S. 41.
Both the pedestrian and the car came to a stop in the area of the crash on U.S. 41.
The injured pedestrian was taken to a local hospital where he remains in critical condition.
