Kissimmee Man Dies After Crash With Truck On Moccasin Wallow Road
Pamletto - Florida Highway Patrol announced, a man has died after being involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon.
The accident took place as a 70-year-old man from Kissimmee Florida was driving northbound on 36th Avenue East approaching the intersection with Moccasin Wallow Road.
As the man from Kissimmee was traveling toward the intersection from the south, a 48-year-old man from Dallas Georgia was driving a semi-tractor-trailer was driving eastbound on Moccasin Wallow road, approaching the intersection with 36th Avenue East.
When the man from Kissimme driving the car arrived at the intersection, he failed to stop at the stop sign and proceeded straight into the intersection.
At 3:15:00 PM, the sedan entered the path of the oncoming tractor-trailer and the truck crashed into the left side of the sedan.
The force of the collision caused the car to overturn before coming to a stop on the grass shoulder.
Both the driver fo the sedan, and the driver of the tractor-trailer had been wearing seat belts during the crash.
First responders pronounced the man deceased at the scene of the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer has not injured in the accident.
