Motorcyclist Critically Injured After Colliding With Another Motorcycle In Parrish
MANATEE COUNTY - Florida Highway Patrol announced a motorcyclist was seriously hurt after rear-ending another motorcycle Wednesday morning.
The crash took place as a 72-year-old man from Ellenton was riding a motorcycle heading east on State Road 62, east of US 301.
Directly in front of the motorcyclist from Ellenton was another motor ridden by a 58-year-old man from Bradenton.
At 10:30:00 AM, the motorcyclist from Bradenton slowed down for traffic in front of the motorcyclist from Ellenton. The motorcyclist from Eldlenton failed to slow down and collided with the side of the motorcycle.
The impact of the collision caused the man from Ellenton to be thrown from his motorcycle onto the roadway, were he continued on until coming to a rest on the shoulder of westbound State Road 62.
The injured motorcyclist was transported to Blake Medical center in critical condition.
The motorcyclist from Bradenton was not injured in the crash.
